Certification Courses

Course guides are available through electronic e-mail delivery. Upon successful completion of course exams, demonstrations, and final payment, a certificate will be awarded. After completion of the course payment or payment arrangement, you will receive preliminary course guideline by e-mail within 72 hours. Manuals will be sent by mail and through electronic delivery within one week from the purchase of the course, if paid in full. Course material will be sent over the duration of the payment period for courses paid through payment arrangement.


In-person courses are offered throughout the year at Nature Reserve in Tucson, AZ. You may register below. Over night camp in our glamping accommodations may be available. Live courses are available for each certification course, and include the distance learning portion, which you may begin at any time. Note: to reserve your space, the workshop must be fully paid 30 days prior to the workshop date.

Ecological Business:  Investment in Nature Conservation

Our Eco-Business certification course was designed to instruct the student in process of land investment for the purpose of nature conservation. The student will learn the importance of nature conservation, and how to invest in raw land to reserve its natural environment. The student will also learn how to profit from the land’s viable, renewable, natural resources while maintaining the ecological systems.

For successful completion of the distance learning (non CEU) course option, the student must complete the required readings, and submit a simulated land conservation investment presentation using PowerPoint or a similar format.


For successful completion of the in-person course (University CEUs), the student must complete four live workshops, required readings, and submit a simulated land conservation investment presentation using PowerPoint or a similar format.  The live workshops includes four 5-hour interactive classes held at a private 10-acre nature reserve in Tucson, AZ, beginning every month.  Each week the instructor will identify and explain a natural renewable resource on the property, and how to maximize profits from the resource.  


The Student's Presentation must be electronically submitted using PowerPoint or similar format.  The presentation must consist of a land investment simulation, including the identification of the land’s viable renewable resources.


This course can benefit adult students and professionals in the field of natural resources, business, entrepreneurship, agriculture, sustainable systems and environments, environmental science and research, and wellness practitioners.

Swimming Dragon Qigong Instructor - I

Xiwangmu Order & Shangqing Taoist Lineage Approved 

This course instructs on how to perform and teach level I Swimming Dragon Qigong.  The student will learn the proper form, and how to implement the movements.  The student will learn the mechanics of the movements and how they stimulate the Qi (Energy) and Blood throughout the body, dissolving blockages. The course explains how the exercise strengthens and provides flexibility to all the joints including the spine, strengthening all the internal organs and the Kidney meridian. The student will learn additional benefits of the exercise, such as; weight loss, waist slimming, skin radiance, sexual health, anti-aging, and uterine health.

Distance learning students are required to submit documents and a recorded video of 5 practice Swimming Dragon  Qigong instructions.  During the duration of the course, you will have access to weekly consultations with the instructor to provide you with personalized guidance and instruction.  In-person students will complete their practicums during the workshop.

Our Medicinal Plants certification course is customized to the student's local geographic area.  The Sonoran Desert Medicinal Plants course focuses on medicinal plants located in the area of our Nature Reserve in Tucson, AZ.  University of Arizona CEUs (continuing education units) are available for the in-person Sonoran Desert Medicinal Plants course.  This course offers comprehensive instruction on how to identify, locate, select and therapeutically utilize  medicinal plants that naturally grow in student's local geographic area.  The course includes instruction on wild-harvesting protocols, including sustainable plant harvesting processes.  The lessons details the five element theory and its relationship to the organs, and how to choose the appropriate plant based on its qualities; temperature, taste, classification, and energetic attributes.

Ecopsychology is a merge of Ecology and Psychology, and focuses on the effects of the human psychological state from interactions with the natural environment.  Psychological studies have provided insight into mental health improvement from immersion in nature.  This course offers comprehensive research studies and training in reconnecting with nature to improve wellness.  Upon course completion, the student will receive a certificate in Ecopsychology, which includes University of Arizona CEUs for in-person training, and an additional certificate as a certified Eco-Therapist.

Traditional Thai Yoga Therapy I, II (level II Includes Reusi Dat Ton/Thai Monk Yoga) 
NCBTMB (National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork) CE Approved - Provider #1624

Traditional Thai Yoga Therapy, also known as Nuad Borarn, is at least a 2500 year old healing system based in Ayurvedic medicine, Buddhism and Yoga. Thai Yoga Massage is a meditative therapy that consists of gentle rocking, rhythmic acupressure and deep assisted yogic stretches to clear and harmonize the sen (energy lines).  The therapy induces relaxation and revitalization of the body, mind, and spirit. 

The course teaches traditional Thai yoga massage on a floor mat, in loose  comfortable clothing.  The course includes comprehensive information on the sen (energy lines), and how each movement and pressure affects the sen lines and the marma (acupressure points).  The student will learn the association of each movement with specific ailments.  The level II students may choose our in-person workshop option, and will also receive an introduction to Ruesri Dat Ton, often referred to as Traditional Thai Yoga.  Reusi Dat Ton is a monk exercise healing system within Traditional Thai Medicine.  Ruesri (hermit/sage) Dat (twisting/stretching) Ton (self), consists of a series of physical exercises and self-acupressure.  


In addition to the didactic based learning format, distance learning level I students are required to submit test questions based on the provided reading material, and a recorded video performing a Thai Yoga Massage.  Feedback will be provided.  Level II students are required to submit documents and a recorded video performing Reusi Dat Ton.  Level II students who choose the in-person workshop option may complete practicums during the workshop.  During the duration of all course levels, you will have access to weekly consultations with the instructor to provide you with personalized guidance and instruction.
