Ecopsychology: The Symbiosis of Nature & The Psyche - 200 Hour Course

Ecopsychology is a merge of Ecology and Psychology, and focuses on the effects of the human psychological state from interactions with the natural environment. Psychological studies have provided insight into mental health improvement from immersion in nature. This course offers comprehensive research studies and training in reconnecting with nature to improve wellness. Upon course completion, the student will receive a certificate in Ecopsychology, which includes University of Arizona CEUs for live video training.

For successful completion of the course, the student must complete live online video workshops, required readings, lesson assignments, and submit a final presentation using PowerPoint, word or a similar format.  

The student’s assignments must be electronically submitted. The final presentation must consist of five simulated Eco-therapy sessions, based on the course material.

This course can benefit adult students and professionals in the field of psychology, counseling, life-coaching, sustainable systems and environments, environmental science and research, and wellness practitioners. 

Academic Pre-requisite: High School Diploma

Technical Requirements: High speed internet to complete the required live online video (Zoom) course attendance.

Distance Learning Course Fee (can be paid in full): $4999 (includes registration fee)

Monthly Payment Plan: Equal payments per month, over 10 months. (Course lessons will be distributed over the duration of the payment.)
